Herschel, STAR #2146

Handsome Herschel has been adopted by Jake and girlfriend. Herschel is one of the dogs that came to STAR from a bad situation in Louisiana and he has hit the jackpot! Jake was hoping to find a young dog to train and also one that could be a buddy for their current Aussie, Ryder. We hope Ryder is ready for all this puppy energy! Thank you, Brian and Jenni, for fostering and for all you do for STAR!

Herschel is the next pup we are excited to introduce from our Louisiana Baker’s Dozen Plus 1 group.

This handsome four-month-old red merle male is already stealing hearts. Weighing in at 27 pounds, Herschel is showing just how strong and resilient he is despite the difficult start he had in life. He is a happy, healthy, playful puppy who is settling in wonderfully with his littermate and foster siblings.

Herschel is neutered and current on all vaccinations. We want to give this sweet boy the time and support he needs to continue building confidence and enjoying all the puppy experiences he deserves before he is ready for adoption.

Herschel is being fostered in the Austin area and will be posted as available once we feel he is ready to find his forever family.
