Nala Red, STAR #2161

Nala has a new family, and we are so happy for this best ever match. The McArthur family, including two young girls were ready to add a dog to the family – and this is their FIRST dog! We are so grateful they decided to contact a rescue and that they applied to STAR. We look forward to updates on Nala’s adventures and know she’ll be adored.  Thank you, Lisa for fostering and all you do for STAR!

❤️ Hi I’m Nala! I’m currently on the lookout for someone who enjoys snuggles, wants to hang out on the couch or by your feet while you are working, loves going for walks in the neighborhood and anything else that involves me and you!

I used to be an outdoor dog but now I am loving the indoors so much!  I get to be by my foster mom  and follow her around the house. There are endless new sights and sounds and I love just waiting for what new adventure is right around the corner.

I think I might be a perfect angel…just saying.  I sleep in my crate quietly at night, I am so happy every morning to see my foster family when I wake up, I learned to go potty outside, I do not chew things like my foster brother and sister, and I have this amazing sideways wiggle that everyone thinks is ADORABLE!  Oh, there is one thing…I will take a treat like an alligator:)

As you can see, I am a Red-Tri Aussie girl with cute freckles on my nose and feet.  My weight is 55 pounds and I plan to knock off a couple more pounds in the next few weeks. I’m 4 yrs old, spayed, fully vetted, microchipped and ready for my forever home.

Please reach out if you are looking for a new best friend.

Can’t wait to meet you!  Nala

Nala is a 4 year-old red tri female and weighs 55lbs.  Her owners released her to STAR when they realized she was spending a lot of time alone and not getting the exercise she needed and deserved.

Nala will be fostered in the New Braunfels area where she will be evaluated and vetted.  She should be ready for adoption late September.  Stay tuned to learn more about this beautiful girl!
