Marley caught the eye David and Cynthia. He came to STAR from a breeder situation, and sadly, was heartworm positive. He had all of the best care in his foster home now gets to live a pampered and loved life as an indoor dog and member of a great STAR alum family – previous STAR dogs are Ruby/Gypsy #889 ’11 and Enzo #1164 ’16. Thank you, Carrie and then John and Deb for shepherding him thru his treatment and giving him a safe place to rest and recover. And thank you, Patti for always matching dogs to the perfect alumni family!
Marley is a 7-year-old red merle that is on the smaller side, weighing in at 25 pounds. He came to us from a breeding situation in the Dallas area. Sadly, he is heartworm positive. He’s the father of Phoenix (another STAR dog). Marley will be vetted and treated for the heartworms on a slow-kill plan based on his age and small size. He has a STAR Alumni adopter waiting for his availability.
