Jade came to STAR and captured everyone’s heart – including Julie’s, one of our cherished volunteers who is also an Alumni. We could not think of a better home for this senior Aussie (age 9) to join as Julie’s 5th STAR dog (Creek #1030 ’13, Gumbeaux #1158 ’16, Harley Blue #1335 ’16 and Piper Red #1855 ’24). Julie flew in from CA and will be driving home with her new buddy and we wish her safe travels. Thank you, Gilbert for fostering.

Jade is a 9 yr-old blue merle female and weighs 50lbs. Her original owner made the difficult decision to release her to STAR due to a move. She will be evaluated in the Houston area and should be ready for adoption early July. We can’t wait to see where our beautiful senior girl lands.
