Robbie, STAR # 1810

ADOPTED

Robbie, STAR # 1810

Robbie #1810 joins his STAR sister (Lily, STAR #1722) at his new home in San Antonio with Alumni, Maureen.  We are SO happy for this handsome, shy boy to get a wonderful home and a big sister to show him the ropes.  Thank you, Nancy for fostering and helping Robbie along his way as a STAR dog and wonderful future.

Robbie is nearing his first birthday (in May) and came to us knowing nothing.  He has since been neutered and updated on all his vaccinations as well testing negative for heartworms.  He weighs around 50lbs.

He has a beautiful coat that is getting a bit curly and wavy.  We believe his interaction with people was limited so he is very shy at first.  Once he gets to know you the shyness evaporates.  He is still a bit reluctant to some of the human touches but it gets much better as he learns more about his environment.

He is slowly working on sit and will sometimes return a ball to you.  He gets along well with other dogs and is average energy.

He is crate trained and eats his meals in his crate.  He may protest for a few minutes with non-meal crating but quiets down quickly.  He is always excited to be let out.

He is mostly housetrained and gets let out often.  He likes to thoroughly investigate all the smells in the yard before getting on with what he’s supposed to be doing.  He has never had an accident while in his crate.

He has a lot of potential with one on one training and attention.  He has quite the reach when jumping to try, note try, to catch a ball.

His foster home in in Katy.
