Smokey will be staying forever in his loving foster home! Sue and Steve are not only STAR Alumni (#1351/Cody, #1468 Reggie, #1717 Chaz) but also volunteers for STAR who have seen many foster dogs come through their home and be adopted to wonderful families. Smokey hit the jackpot from stray to STAR to home! Thank you Sue and Steve for all you do for STAR and adopting Smokey.
Smokey is a neutered blue merle male, 2-3yrs old and 40lbs. He was found on I-10 between Sealy and Columbus. He was covered in fleas, has worms and no microchip. Great news is he is heartworm negative. If this is your dog, be prepared to show proof of ownership with photos, current vet records and pay our expenses to date. He will be vetted and cared for in a STAR foster home in Pearland and should be available for adoption mid-October.
