Smoke, STAR #1775

Smoke came to STAR after his family moved to a small home to care for an elderly relative and there was no place for him.  In addition, he was positive for heartworms and needed some TLC.  Our STAR volunteer and Alumni Linda Sue took one look at this handsome boy and knew he belonged with her and her family.  We always love it when our Alumni adopt another STAR dog!    Thank you, Lisa for the temp foster until Smoke was able to transfer over to Linda Sue.
Adoption pending post HW treatment.
Smoke, 7 years old, 45 lbs.  His family moved from property to small home to take care of an elderly relative and Smoke was just “too much dog” in the house around the elderly mom.  HW+.  Smoke will be adopted by a long-time STAR supporter and volunteer after his HW treatment is complete.
