Adopted Whistler, STAR # 1187

After a few false starts, our fun-loving Whistler has been adopted by the Nuchia family of Cypress. Many, many thanks to Julie for fostering Whistler and teaching him how to get along in this world.

Whistler was found by a good Samaritan in Corpus Christi. He is a sweet lovable boy that will need a dog savvy owner. Whistler is very full of himself and needs someone who can be the boss in a good way. Whistler is two years old and 47 lbs. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro chipped. Whistler has worked with a trainer. He has learned commands with clicker training. He knows the commands to sit, down, stay and go to the mat. He is totally housebroken and crate trained. Whistler loves to play rough and he would like to have a sturdy dog friend to keep him busy or as an only dog one, he will need a home that will get him the activity he needs. He will not be adopted to a home with cats or small children.. or anyone he thinks he can boss around.

Update. This is a nice dog with lots of training. He is perfect in the house but outside will need a big sturdy playmate that can be his match. Also, he would make a great companion for someone that wants an only athletic dog.
