ADOPTED

Rosso, STAR #1873

Rosso is heading home with STAR Alumni – the Goldston family.  This 9-month-old puppy will be their 4th STAR dog (Pepper, Abbey, and most recently, Bodhi #1771).  We love alumni who come back for more!  This Aussie savvy family will give Rosso a wonderful home, full of lots of playtime, learning, and traveling in their camper as they like to take their fur family with them.  Thank you, Nancy for another great foster job.

Rosso is an approximately 8-month-old, red bi male.  He is up to date on his vaccinations, chipped, neutered, and heart worm negative weighing in at around 35 pounds.

He is perpetually happy and always glad to see you.  He has a medium energy level but still has a lot of puppy in him. He loves hard toys like antlers and Nyla bones.  So far, he has not been destructive and responds to no by stopping what he is currently doing and goes off to investigate something else.

He loves playing with his 8-year-old furry roommates and never misses a chance to chase or be chased by them.

He is good in the crate but mostly needs to be led into it.  He will also chase a treat into the crate. He has a lot of training to look forward to and learns quickly.

He greatly resembles a red teddy bear, ready to be cuddled, and hugged.  Cute as a bug in a rug!

To learn more about Rosso, please complete an adoption application.  His foster home is in Katy.

Young male red puppy, approx. 4-5 mos. old found in Cypress several weeks ago.. His foster home is in Katy and will be evaluating him and taking him to the vet for vaccinations and chip.. If this is your dog, please be prepared to show us photos and vet records and ready to pay our expenses.. He should be available for adoption after Christmas.

From foster mom:

What can I say?  He’s as cute as a bug in a rug.  Too early to tell much but he seems relatively well behaved for a puppy.  He’s eating well and is kinda house trained.  Complains a bit about the crate for 5 or 10 minutes and then settles down.  Full of playfulness, cuteness and overall puppiness.  He does have what looks like a skin tag or something on his nose, he has some good size mats under his ears I’m going to work on as soon as he settles in more.  I’ll say again, he is just an adorable ball of red fluff.
