Roscoe Red, STAR # 1796

ADOPTED

Roscoe Red, STAR # 1796

STAR can do many things when we set our mind to it.. Long time volunteer Melanie needed another dog after she lost Chief.. So even though she now lives in Ohio, we were determined to make that happen.. From a country road north of Austin to Ohio and Melanie and Piper.. Roscoe, the best part of your life is just getting started… Thanks to Jennifer for picking up and fostering Roscoe and special thanks to Brandi for transporting him to Kentucky..

Roscoe is a great addition to any home. He is approximately 8 years old and has a laid-back attitude. He enjoys playing with toys, his dog friends, and getting snuggles from his humans. Roscoe is crate trained and is excellent on walks. He loves his humans so much that he follows them around everywhere and sleeps next to them while they work. Roscoe is curious about cats but does not harm them (he may chase them to learn more, but he just wants to be their friend). He has not met a stranger (aka is friendly with new people). Roscoe also will not jump on furniture unless he is invited to do so. He has a healthy appetite but is not food obsessed. In summary, he is a sweet dog who loves/needs attention and can acclimate to a new home quickly.

Delightful 8 year old red tri male.. Easy keeper that weighs 45 lbs. He is totally vaccinated, hw neg. and will be neutered soon.. His foster home is in Austin.. and he should be available for adoption around the middle of February.
