Reba Red, STAR #2026
Reba Red is heading home to be Lori’s buddy, and we are so happy for both of them. Lori is an Aussie and Healer savvy owner who already has plans with lots of enrichment activities and to take Reba on walks, hikes, and out to some family property in the Texas Hill Country to roam around. Thank you, Rae for fostering!
Reba Red is a red tri female, around 4 years and 40lbs. She was released to STAR when a new baby arrived in the home and Reba was used to being #1. Notes about Reba from her foster mom:
Reba is the full package: beauty, brains, and a whole lot of sass. At 4 years old, this red tri girl knows what she likes — belly rubs, tug-of-war, and loyal companionship. She’s cuddly and affectionate once she trusts you, but she doesn’t give her heart away to just anyone — earning Reba’s trust is a journey worth taking.
True to her Aussie roots, Reba is intelligent, spirited, and has a strong personality. She can be a little stand-offish at first and tends to try and take on the “alpha” role. Because of this, she’ll thrive with an Aussie savvy human who understands her breed’s unique needs and can provide firm, fair leadership.
Reba is looking for someone who will love her sass, match her smarts and guide her with confidence. In return she’ll be your most loyal, loving shadow and your ultimate snuggle buddy.
Reba could easily be an only dog or have a few fur buddies, but no other female dogs recommended. She would also do best with no young children living in the house. She is crate trained; leash trained and sleeps great throughout the night.

Introduction to the Adoption Process – South Texas Aussie Rescue
Reba Red is a red tri female, around 4 years and 40lbs. She’s an owner release who could not keep her as she was not a fan of the new baby in the house, would bark too much. We will get her personality figured out and find her a kid-free home. She’s being fostered in the Cypress area and may be available late September.
