ADOPTED
Phoenix, STAR # 1505
and to fosters John and Pam and Janet.. We wish him the love and happiness he deserves on his new journey..
From Phoenix’s foster mom..
“Phoenix is such a character! He is a very active, beautiful, happy 3 year old and 40 lb. male red Merle. He loves to play fetch with a toy or ball. He will bring you all of the toys out of the toy box. He also loves to run in the backyard. He is a very lovey Aussie that would be your Velcro dog. He rides in the car great and is excellent when you tell him Kennel. He is improving on his leash skills.
He does love to bark at the squirrels and will also try to jump up the tree to get them. Phoenix does have a few quirks. He will bark if he sees someone outside, I would leave my door open and he would let you know if someone was walking by. My Aussies do that and I am use to it . He will try to counter surf but I keep a spray bottle by my side and when he sees it gets down. He HATES to be sprayed. He is also like a toddler in the sense he wants to put things he shouldn’t in his mouth. I have lost 2 chapsticks from my nightstands and he loves to sneak tissues anywhere they are left. He will need an dog savvy owner but he will find his perfect fit. He will be a great dog .. ”
Phoenix has been on the back burner since he was sick and then his original foster dad got very sick.. he is now in a new foster home with a new perspective on life.. He’s a good boy .. a little barky and a little suspicious of strangers until he sees they have treats.. He is housebroken and crate trained.. He is fully vetted and microchipped.. And he has AKC papers.. His foster home is in Bay City.. If you are interested in meeting Phoenix, please go to the website.. read about adoption and submit an application.. or if you already have one, contact us thru the website or PM on FB.
