Adopted Shane, STAR # 1322
Two-year-old black tri male found at MCAS. He has been treated for heartworms Honestly, one of the cutest dogs ever !!! He now has a home with the Williams family and will be moving to Austin. We see some training in the future. he will be Adrian’s dog and sleep in his bed.
Many thanks to Don for picking up Shane, to Carey for the home visit and most of all to Deb and Jim for fostering and taking such good care of Shane.
Available Dog Shane, STAR # 1322
Shane is a black tri male found at MCAS He’s 42 lbs. and approx. 2 years old. Neutered, current on vaccinations and chipped. Here is what his foster mom says about Shane.
“Shane is a sweet and needy boy. Young and energetic and happy all the time. He loves to play with other dogs but he wants human attention the most. He loves to throw his toys around when you or other dogs do not want to play. He is fine with children and cats. He should not go to a home with anyone who has walking issues as he is prone to walk in front and between legs. He is a tripping hazard. He wants to be first in line for loving so a multiple pet home needs to be patient with this behavior. He will squeeze between you and your other pet to get attention. His foster brother and sister handled it well but not all will appreciate it. He is very smart, food motivated, and eager to please you. He knows commands for off, sits, down, and shake. He is crate trained, house trained and treated for heartworms. “Shane is a Happy, Happy, Happy dog! If you are interested in meeting Shane, please fill out an application or if you already have one, contact this page. His foster home is in League City.
