Meet Dakota.. a two year old red dog sent to STAR from a shelter in Mississippi..He needed to be treated for Heartworms.. His treatment was easy and now he is ready for placement.. Neutered, current on vaccinations and chipped also. He weighs approximately 47 lbs. He is one of those dogs that every Aussie volunteer who has methim wants to keep him.. A really good dog.. Dakota walks very well on leash, seems to like kids and disregards the cats at the kennel. He is always ready to get into the car, likes to ride the console, and doesn’t want to get out once there.Dakota’s foster home is in Cypress.. Dakota is a red male stray from a shelter in Grenada, Mississippi.. Transported through Louisiana to STAR for his heartworm treatment.. 50 lbs. and approximately 2 years old.. Very nice dog good with people and other dogs..His foster home will be in New Braunfels.
