Adopted Catalina aka Kit Kat, STAR # 1308
Kat is from the shelter in Lufkin. Adored by two foster homes, she’s a spooky girl that just has one more adjustment to make. The Pedro family of San Antonio sent representatives, Dad, and daughter to meet Kat and whisk her away to join their family and menagerie. Many thanks to Ashley for the home visit, to Topher and especially to Kristin and Chip for fostering Kat and special thanks to Debbie in Lufkin for contacting STAR.
Adoption Pending Catalina, STAR # 1308
Catalina, or Kit Kat as her foster home calls her, is ready for her forever home! This sweet, 35-pound blue merle girl is estimated to be about 1 year old and still has a lot of puppy energy. She follows her humans everywhere, loves playing with the other Aussies in the family, and fetching the Frisbee in the backyard. She is super quick and can even catch (especially when treats are involved!). Other skills include sitting on command, waiting to eat food, loving to go on long runs, and waiting to go out the door until released. She even walks well on a leash. This sweet girl has a lot of love to give and will make a great family pet, therapy or obedience dog. She is great with her foster’s child. Kat alarm barks when strangers approach; especially men which she is growing out of. Her foster home is in downtown Houston. If you are interested in meeting Kat, please fill out an application on this website.
New Dog Catalina, STAR # 1308
Kit Kat is from the Lufkin shelter. She is three years old and approx. 32 lbs. We know nothing else about her as she has not been to the vet or been evaluated. She does know to sit. She should be available around the middle of April. Her foster home is in Houston.
