Darby, STAR #2040
Darby has been adopted by Justin and Page. She’ll have a couple of fur buddies to help her learn the ropes in her new home including two brothers – another younger Aussie and a senior Heeler mix. Backyard play, daily walks and of course, rough-and-tumble times with her fur buddies are on the agenda. Thank you, Lisa for a great foster job.
Sweet Darby is ready to find her FURever home!
Darby is a petite Black Tri Aussie, around 2 years old, weighing in at a solid 30 pounds! She came to STAR from a backyard breeder who decided she was too much, but to us, she’s too much LOVE!
She is ready to greet the day with non-stop wiggles, walks, zoomies and ball playing. She definitely loves each person she meets and has learned to be more social and less fearful when greeting other dogs that she encounters on her walks and the ones that come to stay for the weekends.
We will be looking for a savvy owner who can show this girl who is boss. She is super fun and would do well as an only dog or as a playmate. We love our “Darlin’ Darby”!!!
Darby is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. To learn more about her, please start by filling out an application here:
Introduction to the Adoption Process – South Texas Aussie Rescue
Darby is a 2-year-old black tri female, around 35lbs. She came from a backyard breeder, and she’s just too much for the family with her alpha personality and resource guarding. We’ll get her assessed and find her an Aussie savvy home. Her foster home is New Braunfels, and she may be available mid to late October.
