Mickey caught the eye of STAR Alumni and volunteers Bill and Nancy – and that was that! Mickey is moving from San Antonio to Dallas and gets to hang out with his new buddy Moss. Thank you to Michelle and John for pulling Mickey from the shelter in Clyde and transporting to who delivered him to his foster home. Thank you Gordon for taking in Mickey, helping him through heartworm treatment and spoiling him rotten with treats, toys, and love.
This is Mickey.. Adorable sweet 35 lb. black tri male.. best guess is he is 1-2 years old. Coming from a shelter in W. Texas, his foster home in San Antonio will get him vetted and evaluated.. He should be available for adoption around the middle of August..
UPDATE: Sadly, Mickey has heartworms.. He will be treated and not be available until October.
