Sophie, STAR #2109

It’s official – Sophie (l) will stay in her foster home with volunteers and Alumni, Crystal and Shaun, and their STAR dogs Glory #1691 and Hank #1710 ’22. She’s already become Hank’s little shadow and had Shaun wrapped up in love at first sight! We love a foster fail – but especially when they are alumni too! Thank you to Beth for rescuing this girl from the shelter and to David on transport. PHOTO COMING SOON.

Sophie came to STAR from the Kerrville shelter – animal control was called to pick them up by the owner – one of 8 dogs. She’s a Black Tri Female, around 14 weeks old and currently 20lbs. Super timid so far, and super sweet. We will get her fully vetted and microchipped. She will be adopted out with a spay contract and may be ready in late May.
