Maverick came to STAR from a shelter in Louisiana and had a dislocated hip that required FHO surgery. It took quite a team to help this good boy get the surgery he needed and patience to help this active boy with rehab and recovery. Luckily, he met potential adopters, Brad and Cassidy and had them hooked with is handsome and gentlemanly demeanor – so Maverick is “home”! Thank you, Brad and Cassidy for fostering, rehabbing, and adopting – welcome to the STAR Family. Maverick came to STAR from the Jefferson Parish shelter in Louisiana. He is a red merle male just over a year old and 48 lbs. He will be vetted and evaluated by this foster home in New Braunfels… Big, sweet puppy !!! He should be available for adoption around the middle of September.
