Luke, STAR # 1784

ADOPTED

Luke, STAR # 1784

Luke has found a new, wonderful home with Frankie.  He gets to be an only dog and will enjoy all of Frankie’s time and attention.  Luke’s new Aussie-savvy mom has lots of fun, training, and enrichment in store for him with hikes, walks, and exploring new part of Texas.  We are thrilled to include Frankie in our STAR family.  Thank you, Pam for the wonderful foster job and giving Luke all the love and patience he deserves.  Thanks, Bob for referring Frankie to us!

Hello my name is Luke. I am a BTM, 2 years old and weigh 35 lbs. I am extremely  intelligent and learn very fast!  I know how to:
Sit, lay down, shake, jump up and roll over so far.
I know my name and respond immediately when I am called whether it is to come, stop stay.
Completely house trained.
I get along well with my foster brother and other male dogs.
I tend to be very dominant with females. I would be awesome as an only dog or with a brother.
Unless you let me know to stay when opening the gate, I will sometimes make a run for it. Oh, almost forgot one while we were sleeping with the windows open, I saw something and busted through the screen (bed was under the window).  But I was calmly waiting at the gate for my Foster Mom.
I can be a bit bouncy at times. But I am so cute doing it mom always laughs.
I am crate trained and go willingly without any issue just remember the treat. I stay in the crate while mom is at work but am allowed to sleep with my pack at night. I love sleeping right next to my mom.
I am also very loving and very lovable.
If you choose me to be your forever pup, I will adore you and give you all my heart ♥️.
If you are interested in meeting Luke, please go to our website, read about Adoption and submit an application. His foster home is in Sweeny.

Luke’s dad is moving and is unable to take him with.. He is a Black Bi male..  21 mos.  old and weighs 38 lbs.  He will need to be vetted and evaluated by his foster home in Sweeny.. Luke should be available for adoption around the middle of November.
