ADOPTED

Kita, STAR # 1746

Linda and Kita both needed a companion… How wonderful it is that they have found one another.. Linda is the perfect only dog home for our bossy sweetheart.. Thanks to Elaine for pulling Kita.. and to Mike for transporting her all the way to Texas.. and thanks again to Nancy for an excellent job of fostering this girl..
Kita is a mature lady looking for her furever home.  Found as a stray in Louisiana, we estimate her to be around 8-9 years old.  She has a beautiful coat with a face that melts your heart.  She has a little arthritis in the back that is responding to well to meds and may or may not have a cataract in her blue eye.  Regardless, she’s a spry girl who still has the zoomies and loves toys.  From foster mom:  “She is very food motivated, will sit for a treat, and is practicing her counter surfing skills of which she is quite accomplished.  She gets along better with the male Aussie in my house and would likely do best with no other female dogs.  She is always in the same room as you unless she’s crated for her overnight sleep. Not a peep while she’s crated, and she goes in easily.  Her favorite pastime is destuffing her toys or removing the squeaker. Once she knows she’s not supposed to chew on something, like a bed, she leaves it alone and sticks to her stuff.  Sweet girl who deserves a loving, comfortable home.”
Kita was pulled from a shelter in LA, and just arrived in Texas.  She needs some TLC, ASAP.  We estimate her to be a mature gal, possibly around 8-9 years old and she’s roughly 40lbs.  Her foster home is in Houston and may be available in mid-June.  Her adoption fee is negotiable 🙂  We just want to find her a good home where she will be loved..
We will be happy to provide more information about Kita… Please go to the website, read about Adoption and submit an application and some will call you.. .
