ADOPTED

Daisy, STAR #2029

Daisy caught the eye of adopters Gabrielle and Clark, and it was a win/win at the meet & greet. She’ll get to live with them in Houston and a fur buddy – Bailey, a male Aussie Doodle. Jackpot for sweet Daisy who came to us after her owner passed. Thank you, Lisa, for another wonderful foster job and letting her go!

Daisy is a lovely blue merle female who came to STAR after her owner passed away from cancer.  It is very evident that this beautiful, regal girl was loved and cared for at the highest level possible.

Our goal is to make sure this continues for Daisy…she deserves it!  Daisy has two very exceptional blue eyes, she weighs 54lbs and is 8 years old with her birthday coming up this December. She’s fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.

From her foster mom:

She transitioned into my home and models the perfect houseguest every day.  She is definitely a “velcro” Aussie, following me around all day, settling right by me wherever I sit, and sleeps by my bed each night.

Daisy loves her walks, is very playful with other dogs and her favorite thing is to play ball…she will actually bring it right back to you and set it by your feet!

I’m ready to help her find her furever home – a place where she will be adored.  Did I mention she was very affectionate??? There is so much more that I look forward to telling a prospective adopter about.”

If you are interested in Daisy, please fill out an application with South Texas Aussie Rescue (our website, under Adopt).

She is currently being fostered in New Braunfels, TX.

Daisy’s owner was moved to hospice care and the family asked STAR to step in. She’s a blue merle female, a young at heart, energetic 8-year-old and weighs 50lbs. Her foster home in south of Austin where she’ll have time to settle into new surroundings and be evaluated for her next home. She may be available end of September timeframe.
