Harris caught the eye of STAR Alumni and volunteers – Bill and Nancy. Harris will be their 3rd STAR Aussie (also Gingerbread #119 and Mickey #1662). Bill and Nancy recently lost their sweet border collie, Moss, and Mikey was missing having a buddy – so we are happy this is such a win/win! Thank you, Mary for fostering. Thank you, Elaine for finding this boy and pulling from the shelter just in time, and to Mike and Terry for transport. Go STAR team!
Harris was on the euthansia list at a shelter in Louisiana.. So STAR stepped up and took him.. Black tri male.. 2-3 years old and 44 lbs. Everyone who has met him thinks he is delightful.. He is fully vetted and will be evaluated by his foster home in Austin.. Harris should be available for adoption the middle of December.
