Gigi, STAR # 1557

ADOPTED

Gigi, STAR # 1557

Gigi has been adopted by the Power family.. They already have STAR dogs Ruxin and Joker/aka Blue, Class of 2017.. Gigi will have lots of playmates.. Thanks to Freddie and Tate for the transport and the Oakes family for fostering..

“Our funny little foster girl had her portrait made today. She was super cooperative in the studio! She has settled into active family lifestyle nicely and is ready for adoption. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is always happy. She is a rough and tumble girl that loves to wrestle and play tug. I think she will do well with children and is good with other dogs. I don’t have a cat so hard to tell there. She is a bossy girl and will try to lay other dogs down but is gentle about it. Jumping up is much improved and she can sit, stay and down if you have her attention. She has gotten so much better with direction. She will chew small things she finds on the ground or low shelves so gotta watch to make sure toys left in eye sight are doggy toys. She is ready to be adopted sooner than later. This would be of benefit to both her and her new family so that while people are home due to the slowing of our society, she can have her new family around her as she adjusts and bring them joy in these sad times.”

Gigi is one year old and weighs 42 lbs. She will need attention, supervision and training
initially because of her age and energy level.. She’s super smart and ready for a new home.. We will not be looking at apartments situations for Gigi.. and she would love to have a playmate to keep her occupied.. Her foster home is in Cibolo. If you are interested in meeting Gigi, please go to our website, read about Adoption and submit an application.. If you already have one, please Contact Us or PM on Facebook.
