“General” Sam Houston, STAR # 1704
General Sam Houston “Sammie” was found wandering on a country road near Cleveland TX, very malnourished and with heartworms – STAR helped to turn his life around with loving foster homes and medical attention. His life just got even better as he’s now a member of the Holcomb family and fur buddy to 13-year-old Aussie sister, Maisey. Many thanks to Jill for finding this boy, bringing him into her home, and assessing his health. Thank you to Angela for being his 2nd foster home, ensuring his health, safety and well-being. Thank you Sue for the home visit.
Found in upper Montgomery County back in Dec 2020 and HW+. He’s been under treatment and doing well. General is 2-3 years old and weighs 45 lbs. He is being fostered and evaluated in Bryan/College Station.
Sadly, he has heartworms and will not be available until maybe May 2022..
