Available Dog Sinbad, STAR # 1444
Sinbad has written a letter hoping he will be adopted soon.
“Hi, I’m Sinbad
I’m a 50 lb Red Merle approximately 5 years old. I came to STAR from a small rural shelter near Corpus Christi. I really like my foster home and my foster parents. I get along with the other dogs and cats in my foster home, except for Barney who doesn’t like me much so I stay away from him.
I love toys !! I constantly have one with me. I love to empty the toy basket and toss
them around the room. I’m very focused on my humans, my gold eyes never leave them. I have learned very good house manners and am crate trained.
I have been on several trips out in public and have met everyone well. It takes a little while to meet strangers at home. Don’t let my big bark scare you. Truthfully if you just ignore me, in time I will get comfortable with you. Also, I am such a baby during heavy rain and thunderstorms, I pace and seek reassurance from my people. To help me I should
go into my covered crate and wait it out.
I’m fully vetted, microchipped and heartworm negative. If you’re looking for a lifelong companion that will never leave your side. I’m your man. I have a couple
of quirks but we can work on them together. And did I mention, I am lovable and VERY good looking.”
Please fill out an application on our website. Sinbad’s foster home is in Sweeny.
