ADOPTED.. Shep, STAR # 1474

Shep has been shuffled around and overlooked.. Now this great little guy is moving to Austin to live with James and Bryan and their girl, Leia.. I hear they are already moving furniture around the room with their play.. Many thanks to those who helped Shep.. including foster homes, Jan and most recently John.. A big thanks to Dr. Jenna for the home visit..

New Dog. Shep, STAR #1474

Shep is a 18 month old black tri male. He weighs about 50 lbs. He is up to date on shots, neutered and chipped. He has a lot of energy, but most 18 month olds do. He has been the perfect house guest at his foster home.  He is very high energy. Playing is tops on his list. He empties out the toy box everyday. Outside he loves to play chase and fetch. He’s very good with the other dogs in the house as well as the cats.  Walks are one of his favorite things to do and he rides well in the car. He knows his basic commands – sit, shake, lay, down-but could use some work on his recall.

Shep does have an aggressive bark but that is the only aggressive thing about him. He is anxious around strangers but warms up quickly. Shep is kennel trained and doesn’t make a sound once he is in there. He is longing for attention and just wants to be loved. seeks out attention often….lap dog for sure.

Shep would most likely not do well in an apartment and would be more comfortable in a home. Although he is a sweetheart we do not suggest children under the age of 10. Because he is VERY bouncy and energetic.  Also Shep would love a playmate..

If you would like to meet Shep, please fill out an application on our website or if you have one Contact Us.. his foster home is in Sweeny, Tx.  You must travel to meet and greet.
