A note from Layla

“Hey there everyone! I think I might be ready to present myself for my forever home now. I’ve been on a long journey starting from 99.9 lbs in Shreveport, La, to the great big state of Texas, strutting my slimmer figure of 70 lbs. I love the new me!! I have so much energy and am enjoying life so much more! My name is Layla, I am about 6-1/2 years old and a puff ball. My foster parent’s call me “Hamster Butt”, they have pictures to prove it:) Everyone loves me…I am a love muffin, potty trained, great watch dog, best friend to all dogs and people, a true companion dog. I sleep by your bed and don’t make a peep…I actually crawl under the bed and stick my head out…I have no idea why??!!

I still have some weight to lose so I will need someone to keep me on my healthy eating and exercise plan…maybe you need some shaping up too???!!! (wink – wink). If you are looking for a beautiful (people say I use eyeliner), sweet and loyal, loving Aussie, please put in an application today! Oh, one more thing, I love toilet paper rolls. Quirky but true. I prefer Charmin. Thanks, everyone!”

Layla’s foster home is in New Braunfels.. Fill out an application on the website if you would like to meet her.
