Adopted June, STAR # 1020

Carolyn and Paul are past adopters who recently lost their STAR dog. They missed having a dog.. and so we’re thrilled when they met June and were able to take her home… Many thanks to Jane for fostering June.

Available Dog. June, STAR # 1457
June is a sweetheart and a funny girl. Super affectionate, she will be right on top of you all the time if you allow her to be. June is unafraid of anything. She knows to sit, drop it, down and a leisurely come. She plays fetch with a ball and might bring it back. June has learned to use the dog door and is very well house trained. She goes into a crate when told “crate”. She does not complain but does get a treat.

We were told that June might eat inappropriate items. However, at her foster home, she has not eaten anything but dog toys as the trash and closet doors are closed. She will empty the toy bucket always looking for the toy on the bottom and likes to always have a toy to carry around.

June walks very nicely on a lead!! She would be the perfect addition to a home with another dog.

June is an red bi female Aussie/Springer mix..
She was adopted from STAR when she was 4 mos. old. and she’s now six years old and weighs just over 50 lbs. She is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped.

If you think you would like to meet June, please submit an application on our website or if you already have an application
you can contact us on the website or PM the FB page. June’s foster home is in N. W. Houston and she says this girl is the easiest dog she has ever fostered.

New Dog.June, STAR # 1020
