Butler, STAR #1893

ADOPTED

Butler, STAR #1893

Matthew found his buddy in Butler, STAR #1893 and the two are perfect for each other. Butler with accompany him at his job on the ranch with thousands of acres to explore and lake time too – so many adventures ahead.  Thank you, Steve and Sue for fostering and to Mack and Mike on transport.

Butler is a 1-year-old Tri Red male. He weighs about 50lbs and is a very tall Aussie and as sweet as can be.
He goes through life just wanting to play. He is always trying to get someone to play with him. If none of the dogs want to play, he will bring you a tug and try to get you to play.
He does fairly well on leash, knows sit, shake, leave it and is working on wait and down. He has a decent recall also.
He is very much still a puppy with lots of energy. He is also a master counter surfer. Don’t leave food unattended, because when you come back to it, it will be gone!
He goes in the crate with no fuss when we leave the house for any extended period of time but, he does NOT like to be in it if we are home. We leave him out at night, and he settles on the bed at our feet. He will on occasion (not very often) jump up in your lap for a snuggle and pets.
He will do best with a buddy to keep him entertained OR a very active human to take him on walkies and hikes. He loves to walk and go for car rides and does well in the car. And play. He LOVES to play and destroy toys.
He does well with children. His first family had 3 kids under the age of 9. And he loves people. He has no issues meeting new people. He loves them all.
To learn more about Butler, please fill out an application on our website under “Adopt”.  His foster home is in Pearland.

Butler is a 50 lb. one year old red tri male. He is being rehomed because one of his human siblings is severely allergic. He is already neutered and will go to the vet for updated vaccines, hw testing and a chip. Butler will be fostered and evaluated in Pearland. He should be available for adoption near the end of March.
