Buster, STAR #1844
Buster is heading home with Brian – and he gets a new fur brother, Oliver. Brian was looking for an Aussie and Buster, with his mischievous and contagious smile, captured his eye! This handsome 8mo old red tri boy came to us from the Galveston shelter, and we are so happy to have found him a loving home. Thank you, Mary for a great foster job and Jack for the home visit!
This handsome boy is around eight mos. old and full of himself! He is a Red Tri Male, and currently around 30lbs. He came to us from the Galveston Humane Society. From his foster home:
“Buster is fun loving puppy who is very intelligent. He is kennel trained and will sleep in his kennel all night. He knows to sit before getting attention. He loves to eat from your hand and do his many tricks such as sit, lay down, roll over, and shake. He is not food aggressive. He walks well on a leash and loves going on walks with his friend Winston (adult male Aussie). We have noticed he does not go to the bathroom while on walks, he waits to get to our back yard. We have a large pool, and he will not get in, but he loves playing in water hose and he had a large rubber bowl of water he likes to play in.  Buster and Winston play well together and Buster does not have a problem being told enough from Winston. Buster is eager to go on car rides and is learning to stay in the back seat – but loves to see if he can ride up front next to you! He knows not to get on the furniture but of course, he will try when you are sitting – but a simple vocal “down” and he will sit at your feet. He has only been around a male dog, and we do not have any children. He is very curious of about my cats, but they do not get close enough to see if he likes them. Like most Aussie he can be a mouthy but easily distracted with a toy. His only unpleasant traits are those of any puppy, he will jump on you and try to nip you when overly excited.”
Buster is a lovely, sweet, young Aussie who is ready to find a family to love. Please complete and application to be considered and learn more about Buster.
