Bug, STAR #2004

Sweet Bug went from stray to STAR and then his foster home loved him so much – he’s staying! He’s got best fur buddies in another STAR dog (Beaux #1614 class of 2020) and Woody. Thank you, Jean and Pat for giving this very good boy a home to settle in and giving him permanent status. And, thanks to the local team in Louisiana who helped capture him and get him to STAR.  Win/Win!

Bug came to STAR from shelter in Harvey, Louisiana. What little background we have is that he was purchased from a breeder and escaped from his new owner. He’d been in the run for several months before capture and his owner gave him up to the shelter. Since hanging out in his foster home – he’s settled, happy and shows zero signs of leaving his life of comfort and TLC.  He’s a handsome black tri male, around 3 years old and 58lbs. His foster home is in Louisiana, and he may be available for adoption early-to-mid, July after being fully evaluated and vetted.
