ADOPTED

Bruce, STAR # 1685

Bruce, the charming stranger found in the Heights has been adopted by the Gletty family of San Antonio.. He will have an Aussie sister, Maeve..they already LOVE each other.. Thanks to Terry for picking up Bruce and holding him for his foster.. thanks to Edith for doing an amazing job as first time foster home.. And thanks to Debi for the home visit..
Bruce was trapped in the Heights area of Houston and his owners have not showed up.. He is ready to be adopted.. He is approximately
one year old, 40 lbs. and of questionable heritage.. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.. Here is what his foster mom has to say
about Bruce..

“Bruce is a male puppy – he needs to chew, he needs to play, he needs to zoom, and he needs more training to develop his confidence. Bruce has incredible athleticism (except when trips over his own feet). Bruce shows the laser-like focus of a true stock dog (unless he’s distracted by the sun going behind a cloud or something). He is the classic “Velcro” Aussie cuddle-bug (when he’s paying attention). If Bruce was in a teenage Rom-Com, this sweet boy would be the clumsy, loveable doofus who’s looking for love (and always spilling mustard on his clothes).

Okay on a leash, easy to bathe, crate-trained, and manners are improving every day.

Would thrive with another dog. Not okay with cats. Should not be around small children or anyone who can be easily knocked over until he has better control of his boisterous body.”
His foster home is in Houston.. If you are interested in meeting and adopting Bruce, please go to our website, read about Adoption and submit an application.. Bruce is a fun dog looking for a buddy to share adventures !!!

If not reclaimed, he will be available for adoption around the first week in October.. His foster home is in Houston.
