Blaze, STAR #1970

Another great STAR Alumni placement with Rich Adams (Spike/Parker Owen #971 class of ’12, Judy #1237 class of ’16 and Gracie #1832 class of ’23). Great news is Gracie gets a younger brother to keep in line!  Good luck, Gracie!! Thank you, Lisa for another great foster job. And thank you to the team who got him here from Louisiana – Elaine, Terry, and Mike.

Buddy “Blaze” was found as an emaciated stray in Louisiana and was taken in by a caring couple.  He is a beautiful, energetic blue merle male who is ready to liven your life up and keep you on your toes!

Buddy is just under 1 year old, approximately 39 lbs., extremely smart and full of life.  He is vetted, microchipped, potty trained, crate trained and ready to rock your world!  We love this sweet boy, plays well with his foster friends, a male and female, skips around outside chasing birds, butterflies and planes and loves to chew on toys and chase balls all day long.

He does settle down, sleeps quietly in his crate all night and drinks his water like a mule:) He would be a great running buddy, or fly-ball champion if that is your passion.  I think he would do great as an only dog but he would also be perfect with a “sturdy” playmate.

Buddy is being fostered in New Braunfels.  Please fill out an application if you are interested in adopting our boy.
