Adopted Shiner, STAR # 1254
Shiner was found in the Austin area and turned over to Star Lost no more, he has a family now with Travis and Karen. Looks like some training may be in his future. Thanks to his foster homes, Caitlyn and Julie.
Available Dog Shiner, STAR # 1254
Shiner is a sweet and very affectionate boy.. He is approximately just over a year and 47 lbs.
While he catches on quickly to obedience training, he will need a consistent leader. He loves car rides and the dog park On a walk, he needs to be kept on a short lead as he wants to chase cats and play with every dog he sees.
Shiner will crate for a treat and has learned to lay down and wait for a command before exiting. He settles quickly inside the house and has learned to lay at your feet. Only occasionally does he need to be reminded to stay off the couch.
Shiner gets along with other dogs, greets adults well. He can be “puppy mouthy” in his excitement so he will need to watch around kids.
He does love the tennis ball. so a dog sport could be in his future. Shiner’s foster home is in Cypress. If you would like to meet him, please fill out an adoption form on our website.
