Moonie, STAR #1809

Moonie is heading to his furever home with the McElroy family. The met Moonie and fell in love – and waited for him to get the “all-clear” after his treatment for heartworms.  Moonie gets a “bossy” fur sister, Laney, to hang with, lots of walks, fetch at the local park, and squirrel watching from the windows. Thank you, Terry and Don for the transport and to Nancy for the home visit.  And thank you, Sue and Steve for fostering this boy and helping him to health and an adoption to a wonderful family.

Moonie is a red tri male, around 50 lbs. and 2 years old.   His owner has had him since a puppy – but difficult family circumstances have gotten in the way of being able to give him the time and attention he deserves.  His foster home will be S. Houston and he may be available end of March.
