Available Dog Henry, STAR # 1325
Hi !! My name is Henry and I’m a laid back, easy going lover boy. It’s taken me some time to adjust to a new life. I’m guessing that because I had just lost my owners, my home, I was stuck in a shelter all alone. It really hurt my feelings that the reason I was at the shelter was that I was “unwanted.” I like it in my foster home now. I had a medical scare right away, which turned out to be nothing, so it gave me time to discover what is my list of “likes” – I like having pal’s, I like having someone home with me all the time to let me out, take me for walks, to give me love, to feed me on time, etc. etc. etc. I really like being loose with this big pack, not stuck in a crate (although I’ve gotten very good about sleeping in one, and spending 2-3 hrs in one during the day while you go shopping). I like riding in the car, I like walking the yard, I haven’t gotten fully into playing with the ‘guys’, but I’ve started running with them. I don’t think I want to be an only dog, unless my owner is home all the time, takes me everywhere, takes me out when I have to go, and loves me to pieces. Are you getting the idea, I prefer to have company. I weigh 48 lbs. and am 7 yrs. old and still have a lot to give to the right family. Please fill out an application and come to meet me. I’ll introduce you to my new pals here. We are all hanging out in Cypress.” Henry has been adopted out once, but his new mom had a change in circumstances so he has been returned.

Adopted Henry, STAR # 1325
What could be better than staying home with mom?? Henry has been adopted by his foster mom. Her first “foster failure”. Thanks to Amy and Patti at the Lockhart shelter for sending Henry to STAR.. and thanks to Jenna for fostering and making him her own.

New Dog Henry, STAR 1325
Henry was pulled from the shelter in Lockhart where he was dumped along with a healer by a family who was unable to care for him. We don’t know much about Henry other than he is older (7-9 yrs) and Heartworm neg. and a super sweet confused boy. He will go for his vetting and spend at least a month in his foster home in College Station. He should be available sometime around the end of June.
