Polly, STAR #2149

Please help us welcome sweet Polly to the South Texas Aussie Rescue family.

Polly is a 1-year-old red merle female weighing 38 pounds.  Of all 14 dogs rescued from the Louisiana Baker’s Dozen Plus 1 situation, Polly appears to be carrying some of the deepest fear and uncertainty.  For this little girl, everything is new.   Right now, her world is still a very scary place, and we’re going to let her set the pace.

Her foster home will be giving her the patience, consistency, and love she needs to begin healing. We will be celebrating the little victories along the way – even the ones that might seem small to us can be huge milestones for Polly.

Polly is being fostered in the Bastrop area.  She is fully vetted and spayed.

Polly will not be available for adoption until we feel she is ready.  Please keep this precious girl in your thoughts as she begins this incredible important journey.
