Boone was released to STAR when his owner fell ill and was not able to care for him, and unfortunately, he was infected with heartworms. STAR got him back to health and found a great home with the Rodriguez family. They had recently lost their Aussie, Cooper and were missing having a dog in their life – so this is a perfect match! Boone is a very handsome red tri male, 3 years old and 65lbs. He is officially a STAR dog and we couldn’t be more thrilled. His owner became ill and was no longer able to care for him. He will be neutered and treated for heartworms and should be available towards the end of May. He is being fostered in Bay City.
