Rusty, STAR #2037
Rusty went from stray to STAR to home with alum family, Todd and Denise. This is their second STAR dog and Rusty joins Dakota, STAR #1507 ’19. He’ll get to live a great life in Austin and enjoy all the hill country has to offer. Thank you, Geneta for a wonderful foster job and helping get Rusty to health and happiness.
Rusty is a red merle male, around 4 years old and 52lbs. He was found as a stray running down the country road in the Spicewood area – our thanks to the finder for getting him vetted, neutered, and caring for him (for 2 weeks) until we could take him in. If this is your dog, be prepared to show us proof of ownership (vet records and pictures, etc.) and pay our medical expenses to date. He’s resting up and being evaluated in a foster home in Houston and may be available early October.
