Shilo, STAR #2030
Shilo has been adopted by Jon and we are so happy for this match. He joins an Aussie-savvy family, including a couple fur buddies to hang with and farmland to explore. Shilo came to us as a stray found by a good Samaritan, and he was in very poor medical health, so we are grateful to his foster home family, John and Deb, for all the TLC and attending to his medical needs. STAR for the Win/Win!
Shilo is a red merle male, around 2 years old and 65lbs. He was found wandering in Houston (near Telephone Rd, 77003 area zip code) and the finder was unable to locate an owner. He was severely matted, covered in fleas, with no collar and no microchip. Sadly, he is also heartworm positive so that will take time and $$ to treat. If this is your dog, be prepared to show proof of ownership and pay our expenses to date. He will be cared for in a STAR foster home in Houston and his medical needs taken care of.
