Scotch, STAR # 1815

ADOPTED

Scotch, STAR # 1815

Scotch was found in the Bell County shelter but is now such a happy and loved dog.  STAR treated his heartworms and he got “top dog” treatment at his foster home with Jane.  We love when our Alumni come back to adopt another dog and so Scotch joins General (Ash), STAR #1704 and Maisey.  Onward!  Thank you, Brad and Angie Holcomb, for seeing Scotch on our website, reaching out, and adding him to your family.  Win/Win!

Scotch is a super sweet Aussie!   He is very laid back, friendly, crates perfectly and no complaining in crate.  He spends the night crated without a sound.  Scotch is a very handsome red-bi male who we believe is around 2.5 years old and weighs 40lbs.

He eats well, uses a doggy door perfectly, is not bothered by storms and is totally housebroken. He will chew on shoes if they are left out and has been known to counter-surf for peanut butter.

He interacts great with his three girl Aussie roomies with no scuffles. He loves to play with them and has all his basic manners.

He loves to lay on back patio watching the birds and squirrels.  Does not get on furniture even though his girl roomies give him a bad example.

Walks well on leash, likes brushing, and loves attention.  Not a big barker except strangers at door.

Was recently around young humans and did just fine – they loved on him and he loved them right back.

Since he’s been with STAR, he’s been getting good quality food and grooming – his coat is silky and shiny.  He tested positive for heartworms but has completed treatment and did fine.

Scotch will make great companion for a family with children or a single person who wants a fun Aussie as a pal, playmate, walking companion and friend.
