River has been adopted! Mark and Mary adopted from STAR the first time 2012 for Luna #957 – so River has some pawsteps to fill – and we know he’s up for the challenge. Our charming red merle with those blue eyes will talk them into lots of ball play and get to live a great life. Thank you, Steve and Sue for fostering and letting this one go.
River is a handsome senior Aussie, approximately 10 years old. He’s a red tri male and weighs just over 50lbs. His owners have had him since a puppy and say he’s friendly and loves people. However, they are no longer able to keep up with his energy-level. We’ll get him evaluated and vetted in a foster home in Pearland. He may be available late Jan 2026.
