Nala (now Finley) came to us from the shelter in Louisiana, needing lots of TLC and to be treated for heartworms… three months later… Finley was adopted by a terrific Alumni – the Green family. They had recently lost their STAR dog, Fay (Flossie, #815, Class of 2010!) and were ready to give their hearts to another fur friend. Thank you, Elaine for pulling this sweet girl from the shelter and transporting to Mike who got her to her loving foster home with Pam. Teamwork makes the STAR dream work!
Red merle female, 44 lbs. and approx. 2 years old from the Vermilion Animal Control in La. Nala will be groomed, vetted and evaluated by her foster home in Sweeny.
Sadly, she’s heartworm positive, so she’ll receive treatment while with STAR and could be available in mid-to-late June.
