Beau Black, STAR # 1718

Beau Black was adopted by the Miller family.  Two-year-old Bandit gets a fur buddy to hang with on wogs (walk-jogs!) and compete with frisbee in the back yard.  The family loves to take their fur pack on trips with them – so we look forward to seeing B&B (Beau and Bandit) on many adventures.  Thank you to our awesome foster home “Camp Butler” where STAR dogs get so much love and TLC by Lisa.  Thank you, Nancy for the home visit.

“Hello Everybody!  My name is Beau Black and I am about 1 year old and weigh 35 lbs.  I’m likely going to stay on the smaller side.  I started out with my first Dad in college, but it just didn’t work out.  I was adopted but returned for being “too much.”  STAR has been helping me with good citizenship lessons and some cool things like there is play time and rest time.  I’m SMART and learning manners with speed and ease.

I think people love me because I am fun, funny, friendly and HAPPY!  All the time…I do not have bad days…just HAPPY DAYS!  My favorite thing to do is play, play, play.  So, I will need a sturdy playmate that loves to chase, wrestle, and pounce.  I am potty trained, crate trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and learning how to walk on a leash.

I am smart and adorable…my Foster Dad wants to keep me, (he calls me “Bo-Bo”) but foster mom knows they have too many dogs already and I’ll be a great companion to another Aussie loving family.

I need an Aussie savvy family to ensure I get lots of exercise, continue to work on my manners, and help me build confidence in all situations.  The perfect home will have older kids and no cats or at least dog-savvy cats based on his energy level and desire to chase and play.

Beau’s foster home is in New Braunfels.
