Holly was adopted by the O’Dell Family. Our little frisbee-obsessed girl who was surrendered to a shelter in Mississippi has landed with this lovely family in Houston. The O’Dell’s had recently lost their other Aussie and their hearts were ready for another. Thank you to Pilots and Paws and Terrie who brought this girl to us, to Gaylene for the home visit, and Carey for the wonderful foster job with lots of love and frisbee tossing until she was ready for her furever home.

My name is Holly, and I am a true Southern Belle. I was surrendered to a shelter in Mississippi since my family was very allergic. Some very nice people came to get me shelter and I got to fly in a plane to Texas!
I’ve been with my foster family for 3 weeks and I’ve shown them all the good things an Aussie can be! I LOVE to play frisbee and fetch. My foster mom even taught me that if I bring the frisbee right to her feet, I get to do even more fancy catches! I also like going for walks and exploring too.
I’m super trust-worthy in the house. I don’t take things off the counter or the table and I mostly stay off furniture unless invited. My foster mom says that I am a champion snuggler.
I don’t really care about my four-legged foster siblings although sometimes they are just too noisy while I’m trying to get my snuggles in so I have to get off my chair and bump them to remind them it’s much nicer when everyone is calm. I do like to run around with everyone outside though, so maybe it’s because they’re such prissy blondes?
I am learning how to wait at the door before I step outside to potty and play! I looove to be outside being active so this has been a really tough lesson for me. As soon as I’m allowed out the door I so want to chase the frisbee. Don’t worry about forgetting that frisbee because I will remind you about it and even show you where you left it last time!
Everyone who meets me falls in love with my big smile and my happy wiggles, not to mention my super soft coat and belly that is ready for all the rubs! And I’ll be happy to meet you too!
Fresh off a Pilots N Paws flight from the Pearl River SPCA in Picayune, Miss. .. this is Holly.. She is 4 years old, weighs 58 lbs., is spayed and Heartworm neg.. Her foster home in Austin will continue her vetting and evaluate her..She should be available for adoption around the middle of May..
