ADOPTED.. Dublin, STAR # 1492

Dublin was found at MCAS with a shattered leg.. He has had no problem adjusting to being a tripod.. and now he is the luckiest boy to be adopted by past adopters of two STAR dogs.. Here are Rachel and Mark with Dublin’s Aussie brother, Jake.. Huge thanks to John for welcoming Dublin at Aussie Acres and taking such good care of him..

Dublin, STAR # 1492

Our lastest tripod puppy was found at MCAS with a shattered back leg.. His leg had to be amputated,  but he has not been deterred.. Cute as a button.. Dublin will probably weigh 35-40 lbs. when full grown.. Here is the bio from his foster Dad..

“Meet Dublin ,
He is a 22 lb , black tri , 5 month old puppy. And a puppy he is. He came to STAR with a shattered back leg that could not be repaired. Unfortunately it had to be removed. It’s been almost 3 weeks since his amputation. It hasn’t slowed him down one bit.
He is a wonderful boy… very very smart. He has excellent house manners and is crate trained. He has a very good recall and wants the attention of his human. He knows some basic commands like sit and down.
He gets along great with the other dogs and the cats in his foster home. Like most puppies his age he is most curious and is exploring constantly.. and is always under foot. He does play with toys and given the chance might be destructive. Little dog all mouth. He settles down quickly at night and sleeps in bed like a pro.
He is fully vetted and microchipped. He has not been altered due his age and will be adopted with a neuter
contract.. I can’t say enough good things about him as he has been a perfect foster guest and has stolen our hearts.”
If you are interested in Dublin please fill out an adoption application on our website or Contact Us if you already have one. Foster dad has said he would like a home with some older kids maybe..but it’s not mandatory..Or
someone who can provide lots of playtime.. You must come to meet him in person,  his foster home is in Sweeny TX.

NEW DOG, Dublin, STAR # 1492

Six month old black tri male Dublin was dumped at MCAS with a broken leg.. The bones are shattered and will have to be amputated.. The good news is he will be staying at Aussie Acres with an experienced “tripod” foster dad in Sweeny.. He should be available for adoption sometime in Sept.

UPDATE.. Dublin has had his surgery and is going great.. All went well and he is already up and around..
