Colt, STAR # 1786

ADOPTED

Colt, STAR # 1786

Colt has been adopted by the Jones family, his foster home..

Colt came back from is first adoption at no fault of his own and despite husband’s objections, his wife won the battle of keeping Colt with the family. According to foster Dad – “we tried our best but wife says Colt is the perfect dog she’s always wanted” – so wife wins!  Colt makes 4 – with new fur buddies: Henrietta, Lucy, and Ralphie.

Having recently lost Kirby # 873, Class of 2011, the Adams family were ready for a new Aussie.. Great timing as Colt entered our program and was just what the were looking for.. and they are the perfect home for him..

Thanks to our new foster  home, the Jones family for taking such good care of Colt…. and did I mention the gorgeous photos???.. Welcome to STAR..

Colt is a large blue merle male.. possibly 60 lbs. and 4 years old.   His family was unable to care for him.. He will be fostered, vetted and evaluated in Austin.  Colt should be available for adoption around the middle of November.  Update – we have a truck-load of applications for Colt, so if you only are interested Colt, please be aware he will likely be adopted to a STAR alumni.
