Charlie Black, STAR # 1720

ADOPTED

Charlie Black, STAR # 1720

Charlie Black was adopted by Donna and will get to spend time as her companion while she travels, works, and explores parks and places between Texas and her home in Colorado.  Lots of hiking, traveling, and adventures are in his future.  He’s gone from being dumped in a park, to a wonderful STAR foster home with Edi and a new forever home where adventures await.

Another one of our Black Tri boys is ready to be adopted.. Charlie is two years old and weighs approx. 60 lbs. ..Here is what Charlie’s foster mom says about him:

“For the Aussie fan who really really really wants a dog – but just the one dog and an easy-going mellow fellow, Charlie Black fits the bill. This handsome boy is loving, loyal, and enjoys hanging around the house just as much as he enjoys being out and about.

If you want a travelling companion, he love car rides, his leash manners are beautiful. He loves meeting people and takes things in stride. He’s so beautiful everyone wants to pet him – and he’s happy to give snuggles and kisses.

Charlie Black is playful and intelligent but he learns in a thoughtful way – for training he prefers a softer vibe than a super-confident high drive Aussie. For play, he’s the classic zooming Aussie goofball.

He has not been aggressive to other dogs. But he does not want to share his person and needs to be in a one-pet home. (Charlie Black is fine with other dogs, as long as they are not on the couch with you.)

Charlie Black is totally vetted, neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and ready for a new home.”

If you would like to meet Charlie, please go to our website.. read about Adoption and submit an application.. His foster home is in Houston.
