Cash, STAR #2059

From stray to STAR to a wonderful home – Cash has been adopted! Rachel and Hal are alumni – adopting Shay #1861 ’23 and when they were ready to adopt another, they gave us a shout out.  We love it when Alum come back for another dog – and we know that Cash and Nessie will be best of buddies. Thank you, John and Deb for fostering.

Cash is a 1-yr old Blue Merle Male, found on a country road and made it to STAR.  From his foster home:

“Cash is such an amazing dog. He is full of energy and loves to play but is very behaved and calms down nicely indoors.  He’s very comfortable playing and roughhousing with any of our other dogs and quickly learns the boundaries with them. He has not shown any aggression and rather is fairly submissive with the other dogs. Completely housebroken and crate trained, he has adapted very quickly to his foster home. He’s a very affectionate boy and is happy to snuggle up on the couch with us.  He socializes readily with new people, and they immediately fall in love with him. He has been good on a leash and is learning to obey off the leash.  Although he will need some continuing training reinforcement, Cash is one of the best behaved and affectionate young Aussies we have worked with!”

Cash has a pending meet/greet with a STAR Alum family.

Cash is a 1-year-old Blue Merle male with a full tail. He was found on a country road when he was just a few months old, and his owner is having a hard time keeping up with his energy level and has pending surgery and mobility issues, so she wants a better home for him. We’ll get him vetted and evaluated in a foster home in Waller. He may be available late Jan 2026.
